This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Jack Cone who was born in California on December 24, 1984 and passed away on June 30, 2006 at the age of 21.

Jack was a loving and funny guy who cared deeply for those around him. He loved his friends as much as his family and despite his addiction he still carried all of us in his heart until the very end. Jack loved to do everything from sports to snowboarding/surfing/skimboarding to Drama and Choir. He didn`t like homework, but he loved school. He loved to play pranks on his friends and teachers and enjoyed spending time talking to anyone who may have needed a friend. Our son is a special person and we will never know why he chose to head down the road of darkness, but our love never wavered. Jack was a light and a shining example of what it is to have God`s love in and around you. Despite the last two years of desperate struggle in all of us we remained committed to each other, and loved Jack the best way we knew how to love an active addict. This was a hard road, but Woody, Jack and I always knew that we loved each other, and that the three of us would make it through this scary experience as a family (no matter what happen). He is more a part of God`s light and love now and we know that God will use him and his experiences to help many others. We thank God for the awesome opportunity to spend everyday raising him for the first almost 19 years of his life, and we miss him to the depths of our very souls in a way that doesn`t seem humanly possible. It is only with our programs, sponsors, support from friends/family and most importantly our relationship with a loving God that we are making it through this devasting nightmare one long painful day at a time. We love Jack and we`ll never be the same as a result of his passing.
